Nostalgia — January 5, 2006
Today, using one of my iTunes gift cards I took a step in the past. I bought a bunch of music I used to listen to in the early 90’s. For some this has been a pleasant experience and others embarrassing. I’m leaning toward the pleasant side. I bought a bunch of Primus CD’s that have been missing from my collection for years…maybe a decade. I bought Primus - Sailing the Seas of Cheese, Fizzle Fry, and Miscellaneous Debris. Just by listening to the previews nearly all the words, and definitely the tunes came back just as if I’ve been listening to it all my life.
Also, upon hearing the news that bits of this years bowl games being on iTunes, I got the close PSU Orange Bowl game off the iTunes store also…triple overtime. Very close game that kept me up late last night. I got to see the Florida State missed kick off the goal posts, and PSU’s following winning field goal kick.
