If you have commented before on this site, you may find a simple change to the way in which comments are allowed if you comment again. I like not having to require people to make accounts just to comment, however, I don’t like spam comments (that of which I’ve been getting alot of recently). So, under inspiration from Robert Anderson blog (www.pixelimplosion.com), I have implemented a question/answer style to reducing if not eliminating spam comments. The question asks for the sum of two (random) numbers between 0 and 10 (inclusive). If you answer incorrectly, your comment is denied similiar to how it was previously denied if some other comment information was missing. Otherwise, the comment will go through or go through requiring moderation first. Beautiful. I hope this isn’t an inconvenience for anyone.

Today I found out that yesterday the first patent that I issued was officially published. So, finally the world can see it all. Oh yeah, check out that assistant examiner on there - That’s ME! Here’s a link to the patent if you are curious as to what it is about: Patent No. 7,103,588.

After a very nice July 4th at my parents house, July 5th-8th we scheduled a small vacation trip to the NJ shore. If we needed a reason to go we would’ve called it our honeymoon. But we did not consider it that at all. I liked the time off there relaxing. However, with the temperatures there, it was far from a perfect vacation. Who would’ve thought that the beginning of July would give high temperatures at 70 degrees. The ocean was even colder, I think that was in the 50’s. Nevertheless, we went to a water park to try and have fun anyhow. I thought my body would get used to the cold water, but it definitely did not. My favorite thing to do in the water park is the lazy river, but that was more like the shivering river. After I couldn’t take the shivering anymore, Jenn and I went to the hot springs there. That was nice. Then I flopped out on a hammock swing thingy for a bit. A nice umbrella drink would’ve been nice there, but they didn’t sell them there. After Jenn was done splashing around and I was warmed up from being wrapped in towels on the swing, we left. Other activities we did there were walking the beach, riding a small uni-rail like ride, getting henna tattoos, and eating yummie foods. Next time we go to the shore I think we’ll invite Jenn’s sister Cynthia so that I may more enjoy myself on some of the boardwalks nice rides. Oh yeah, I also probably schedule it for the beginning of August too.
