What a year! — December 30, 2007
Jenn and I typically aren’t big spenders, but, looking back on 2007, we’ve done nothing BUT spending. It’s crazy. Overall 2007 has been a fantastic year for Jenn and I. I mean seriously, lets make a list here (In as close consecutive order as possible to not show favoritism and leading up to new news):
1) Baby Lukas (Aunt’s Uncles, Grand parents etc. made)
2) Jenn and I bought a house
3) Jenn and I got married
4) Jenn’s new iMac computer
5) xBox 360/Halo 3
6) Big Screen TV
7) Train Set (great and for xmases of the future)
8) A Cert. Used 2004 Royal/Dark Blue Honda CR-V (we couldn’t take our POSes anymore, esp. with the escort wagon’s dead engine and Jenn’s Grand Marquis oil leakage (among other things)).
We feel very fortunate. Don’t get me wrong, we’ve had some bad times (e.g. MP3 Hard Drive failure), but the good above is far better than the bad.
Our next purchase (Early 2008) will be a Queen size bed to fit Abby’s big butt 
. But then, after that, we are def. going to start saving…mainly b/c we’re out of money!
We’re holding a small party tomorrow for new years. Should be fun! Much cleaning to do though to have a presentable car/house and other loose ends to tie up.
